4 is more acidic than 5 and 11 is more acidic than 12.
1 Has the most acidity and 14 is alkaline and between each one 1-2 2-3 it is 10x more than the one before so from 4 to 5 it means that 4 is 10x more acidic than 5. Say it was from 2 to 4 then it would be 100x more acidic.

Generally, 1-5 is considered acidic, 6-8 is considered neutral and 9-14 is considered basic.

To answer your question 4 would be more acidic than 5 and 11 would be more acidic than 12.

Acidity is measured in concentration of protons (also called hydronium), abbreviated as [H+]. Brackets are used for 'concentration of.'
pH, or potential hydronium, is calculated pH = -log[H+].

Neutral is pH=7, or [H+] = 10exp(-7), or 0.0000001 M. If you have fewer protons, the solution is basic: pH= 10 is [H+] = 10 exp(-10), or 0.0000000001 M.

Which pH = 4 or pH = 5 more acidic?
pH = 5, [H+] = 0.00001 M
pH= 4, [H+] = 0.0001 M, which has 10-times more protons.

Generally, the smaller the pH number, the more acidic; the larger the number, the more basic. If something as a pH < 7, it is considered acidic, and pH > 7, it is considered basic.

Hope that helps.

A pH value of 4 is more acidic than a pH value of 5. A pH value of 11 is less alkaline than a pH value of 12.

I hope I still remember. 1 is a strong acid and if u start mixing in basic and continually measure it when u get to 7 that is salt and as u continue to add more basic eventually u will approach basic at 14.
I have used this if there is a spill of HCL I start adding caustic soda and measuring it for a ph of 7, at this point u can wash it into a river as it is just table salt and water.
