A friend is a friend whether intimate or not. You miss people you've developed a bond with whether it was an outward bond or just energy silently kept between you. There is no attachment problem just the awareness that you have to move on. Do not look at letting go as a bad thing but an adventure to new connections. Learn from your experience with this person and realize what you're truly missing is the connection of knowing someone seemed to have just the right energy to increase your own. Now take that and keep your heart happy and share it where ever you go.
