I have dyscalculia, it means I am completely rubbish with numbers, left and right, telling the time, maths, and bored games. I have lived with it for 24 years and it looks like I will never be able to work out a simple sum without copious amounts of help but it's completely insignificant now because I have so many good things going on for me now. I am getting a degree! I am recently married to a fallen angel! I have a beautiful son who is two! and a gorgeous baby on the way! STUFF YOU DYSCALCULIA!!!!

For starters I am lacking in money. I could always use more. I am lacking in knowledge since I can always use more. I doubt anyone has been able to know everything there is to know. Since my old man is not here presently I can say I am lacking in his company. Also I could say lacking in excercise since I really should do more. Everyone on this planet no matter how rich or what ever will be without lacking something.

What kind of a question is this?? Is this not a site for people who are asking advice on things that matter to them?? I am sure that everybody feels that they are lacking in some area. That is part of being human right??? I certainly would not like to meet the person who considers themselves to be perfect... thats for sure!!

I lack total self confidence...Don't get me wrong, I'm a pretty confident person in public, but by myself...deep down inside, I'm not really so confident that people tend to think I am. It's just something within me I guess! I'd really like to change that & am working on it daily. I'd love to be as confident as I've reared my Daughter to be. Power to her, she's beautiful & she knows it.. she rocks!
I have to admit though I sometimes wonder if I did too good a job! if you know what I mean. :-)

To be honest I'm the happiest I've ever been.

For me it all came down to core values and developing my identity. Within the last year I've developed a set of core ethics that I try my best not to undermine. Naturally this works best if the ethics and values that one holds have been thought through completely. This gives you integrity and when you have integrity you are rock-solid and never have to compromise yourself... it feels great.

I read a couple books and listened to a couple audiobooks that helped me develop these things and I am very thankful that there are professionals out there willing to help those of us who are less informed.

Not to mention how much better I've been doing with the ladies...

We all lack in some department or another, just accept the fact that we are not perfect, and enjoy what you have been given, and chose to be happy

Oh, always room for growth, and often I am surprised by the next growth opportunity that shows up on the horizon.
If we do not remain life-long learners, we become bores and know-it-alls.
