I'm not. But remember that when there is a difficult problem, such as the many environmental problems the planet currently faces, there will be many proposals for solutions to the problem. They may be sorted out along roughly political lines, or they may even sort rather efficiently into precise party lines if there is a vote coming up in Congress.

The liberals tend to approach all problems with "whatever it is, I'm against it," to quote Groucho Marx. They want to write another regulation and pay another army of bureaucrats to pretend to enforce it.

The conservatives tend to approach all problems with an essential "throw money at it" approach, too, but where they throw the money may differ. This is often caused by a different view of what is causing the problem, as in the fundamentalists who figure it can all be blamed on Satan.

Then there's the Libertarian Party versus the Green Party. The greens are even more regulation-and-bureaucracy oriented than the Democrats, although that may seem hardly possible. They take their inspiration from what used to be colored Red.

Vote Libertarian for a change.

You're not helping. I'm a high school freshman, and I can come up with more persuasive things than name-calling in about five seconds. Look at my recent posts if you want examples. That's what I've been doing. Besides, the "safety" they offer is a safety from a disaster that is many times smaller than they claim and not being caused by humans in the bargain.
