I found this:
"For there is a child born for us, a son given to us and dominion is laid on his shoulders; and this is the name they give him: Wonder-Counsellor, Mighty-God, Eternal-Father, Prince-of-Peace."

But no one ever says what version it's from!

I *think* it is from a Catholic Bible, possibly some form of the New American Bible.

Good luck!

King James Version Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and hes name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

This verse and the ones preceding and following are telling of the Joy that shall be in the midst of afflictions by the birth and kingdom of Jesus Christ.

Prophesy fulfilled in the New Testament...Birth, Life, Death, Burial, Ressurection of Jesus Christ.

All say that pretty much but I think you have it worded slightly different. "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given and the government will be on his shoulders and he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everylasting Father, Prince of Peace."

wow

that is a really bad translation

here is a better one

For a child has been born to us, a son given to us, and the authority is upon his shoulder, and the wondrous adviser, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, called his name, "the prince of peace."
