So I have this friend, his name is "Zac", and I've known him for a really, really long time. I've never thought of him as anything more than just a really good friend, but I've been hearing around that he wants to be more than friends. Ask me to prom, that sort of thing. I dont know what to do. Any ideas on how I can figure out whats up? Guys and girls are welcome to answer.

Ask Zac how he feels about you, if he thinks of you as a friend or more. Let him know that you only like him as a friend but you don't have to be rude about it.

its extremely rare when girls and guys can remain JUST friends. theres bound to be some sort of emotional attachment or attraction sooner or later. the simplest way to find out? ask him. he should open up to you since youve been friends for so long. and if you have feelings for him(which i assume you do considering the fact that if you didnt you probably wouldnt be asking) try dating and see how that goes! yes theres always the risk of it not working out and hurting your friendships but sometimes the benefits outweigh the risks. good luck!

It's really up to you what to do. If you think you can picture yourself with him then give it a chance but it you already know you don't like him like that then go ahead and let him know your friends and thats all. but if you think for a sec that you might be into him , you won't know until you give him a chance. dont worry what anyone else says or thinks.. its your choice.

only way I can tell you is ask him if he is. obviously you must be thinking of him more then a friend to accept the ideas, so just ask.
