I’m having to spend a day in Nottingham before travelling back home.
I’ve only heard bad things about Nottingham but there must be some interesting/nice things I can do in the city and nearby. I have a car.
What do you recommend?

i'm from Edinburgh yet have pals who stay in Nottingham so l flow down there particularly often. Nottingham fort is amazingly solid with solid perspectives of the city, l've taken a excursion in a bus in the previous, visited an previous windmill merely outdoors Nottingham, drove to Newark that's a stunning previous city or you're able to you flow out for lunch and spend the full day procuring (spectacular procuring centre) i've got been to skinny Summos (think of it somewhat is spelt properly!) that's an ideas-blowing Japanesse resturant.

the Victoria embankment is a very pleasant walk. Also, if you have a car, you should explore the fact that Nottingham has 6 women to each fella?? Madame Sadie is a myth... most girls will do it for free !!

the castle is nice and there is a nice pub built into the rock under on side of it.I think it is called The Road to Jerusalem. They claim to be the oldest pub in England but I have heard that claimed by other pubs
