I'm not a doctor but I would think it could be alot of things , first thing that comes to mind would be hemorrhoids. You really need to see your doctor and have him examine you

Do you mean pooping blood? I am not sure I understand your question correctly, but let me explain some of the more common causes of rectal bleeding.

Of course the thing we are most concerned about is colon cancer. Rectal bleeding is the most common symptom of colon cancer, although many people with colon cancer do not have obvious rectal bleeding.

Some other causes of rectal bleeding include:
1)hemorrhoids
2) anal fissure (a tear or ulcer of the anal skin)
3) Colitis which is inflammation of the colon (large intestine) which can be due to infections like dysentery, or it can be due to disease like ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease
4) Diverticulosis - little pocket that can develop in the colon. Diverticulosis is common, but only 1 in 5 people who have them ever have problems. The most common problem is pain and fever (diverticulitis) not bleeding.
5) Angiodysplasia - abnormal blood vessels in the colon. This is largely a problem of senior citizens but can affect younger people occasionally.
6) Upper GI bleed like an ulcer. Occasionally an ulcer or other problem with the upper gastrointestinal tract (stomach and small intestine) that the blood will come through rapidly enought to be red instead of black.

If you or someone you know is having this, medical attention should be sought out. It may be a minor problem like hemorrhoids, but it is best to be sure. Not all causes of rectal bleeding require surgery.

It could be a host of issues, but if you recently had surgery, then you need to go the ER immediately. After surgery it can be a sign of internal bleeding or infection. If this is a serious question, then you need to get to an emergency room right away.

Well surgery is never a good thing, but a lot of minor problems cause bleeding as well as a lot of very serious ones. No matter how minor the problem is, internal bleeding is a big problem and needs to be checked out immediately. Please make whoever this is go to their doctor or the emergency room of a hospital now.
