I have been talking to this guy for about 3 weeks, and all of a sudeen he uses the "L" word often, tell me he misses me through out the door and text and call me whenever he gets a break at work. The thing is we have never even been out on a date. He is easy to cry and you have to tip toe around his feelings. I don't need anymore signs to tell me that this is something unhealthly. The thing is being that he is like that how do you tell him you want to stop all communication. He has my phone numbers, but he does not know where I stay, and he does not know what part of town I live in. He plans on calling me tonight to pour his heart put to me because he said I just don't know how much I mean to him and he wants me and the whole world to know. We are suppose to go on a date tomorrow, but of course that's not going to happen because that would be crazy on my part. ANY ADVICE will do.

Trust me. Do it clean and be absolutely clear that you are not interested in a relationship at this time. Do not hedge or he will percieve that there is a chance. He needs to know that you are not available. Period. He may whine and cry a little bit, but I would wager that this is a manipulation tactic rather than real love.

Just don't lie to him. I am there with you girl! Tell him the truth...I know it may SEEM like it hurts his feelings but, when people are being told things about themselves that someone may not like...they tend to get defensive at first then they REALLY think about it and it could be good for him. I would just tell him exactly why you don't want to see him. HELP HIM OUT!!! Let him know this is a HUGE turn off and makes him look desperate. I don't know...he may be able to handle it and he may NOT be able to handle it.

Honey, you just have to tell him WHAT he is doing wrong and end it. I know telling the truth is hard. But if you tell him he needs to be more of a man, you shouldn't have to worry about him calling you later.
The clingy types will want to be friends, try to stay in your life, etc. Don't let him manipulate his way to stay in your life!!

Just say, I need some time.......... I like you, but its far from love. You need to slow down, because its way to fast for me...... When OR ""if"" you get a grip, call me and we can talk ....... If your breaking it off any way , just be honest with him......... If the phone calls continue, you can change your # (s) . First time is free, or under the circumstances they should change it for you w/out a problem.....

your going to hurt him now or later...or do u want to suffer your whole life and be miserable because your not strong enough to tell him how you feel. Explain it to him and tell him your deeply sorry and having a boyfriend is just to difficult right now. <33 best of luck.

Ah, I know someone who I wish would act like that with me. His birthday must be in June or July because he sounds like a Cancer in astrological terms. They are so sensitive and clingy..boy to be so lucky!

There is no easy way. Just end it politely and be on your way.......if he gets all clingly...........tell him to grow a nut sack and leave you alone. If you let him down easy, he'll always think there is a chance........Do him and yourself a favor
