Did anyone watch the show on National Geograpics Called Was Darwin wrong? I watched it thinking that it was going to show some faults in Darwins theories..and being a Paleoanthropologist Major I was interested. I like to see both points of views but it completely Amazed me! And it showed some common arguments that People who believe in Creationism have and it proved every single one of them wrong! It was awesome! Did anyone else watch it?

Actually Jax...that is a huge misconception...Im sure someone at your church told you that but you are very wrong about that. If you want to learn more about this then feel free to email me. But for Clarification to everyone, DARWIN DID NOT RECANT. That was Gallileo...but then he took that back....

Unfortunately I missed it.
Jax:
You are wrong. That LIE was spread by a christian woman who claimed to be at his death bed when Darwin died. Darwin's daughter was there up to the last minute he was alive and stated unequivocally that he did not say anything of the sort.
That woman was just another liar for Jesus, and so are you apparently.

There actually is NO conflict between God and science. The conflict is actually between arrogant theologians who think they know it all and big headed scientists who are sure that they do.
The fact is that God has no problem at all with science.
After all....
God invented science.
(Imho, it's pretty darn arrogant for either side to think that they have all the answers. At this point, we aren't even sure about all the questions!)

Darwin was right that evolution exists and explains a lot. He was wrong because he was an atheist.
The first step from non life to life can not be explained through evolution.

Most fundies do not even know or care what theory of evolution is about. That's why their questions usually sound like "How could stone turn into a monkey?".
I didn't see the show though.

I watched it and I thought it was great. Especially the part where the discovered some more missing link evidence near the north pole. I think more people should watch shows like that. Its was really informative and it helped me understand evolution alot more.

Any scientist who even vaguely believes in some fragment of creationism should be kicked out of his branch. Religion has no place in science. Witchdoctors exist but they should not be called scientists.

Here's a theory for ya;
WHAT IF:
CREATION AND EVOLUTION ARE THE SAME. THE TWENTY-FOUR HOUR DAY IS MANS EARTHLY CONCEPT OF TIME BECAUSE IT FITS THE PHYSICS OF EARTH’S ROTATION IN ORBIT AROUND THE SUN, AND THE SPINNING OF THE PLANET ON IT’S AXIS.
WHAT IF:
ONE OF GOD' S DAYS EQUALS A BILLION OR SO OF OUR YEARS? TO PUT THIS INTO PERSPECTIVE, COMPARE A SINGLE ATOM TO OUR SOLAR SYSTEM, THEN COMPARE THE AVERAGE TIME REQUIRED FOR THE ELECTRONS (PLANETS) TO ORBlT AROUND THE NUCLEUS (SUN) AND THEN THINK OF THE SIZE/TIME RELATIONSHIP COMPARING OUR SOLAR SYSTEM TO THAT ATOM. THEN COMPARE OUR TINY SOLAR SYSTEM, AS AN ATOM, TO THE IMMENSITY OF THE UNIVERSE. SURELY, UNIVERSAL TIME CANNOT BE ON THE SAME SCALE AS MANS. IF THIS CONCEPT IS TRUE, THEN SIX OF "GOD'S" DAYS COULD EQUAL BILLIONS OF YEARS OF OUR EARTH TIME. WHEN MAN INTERPRETED AND WROTE "GOD'S" WORD (BIBLE) HE HAD NO ACCURATE CONCEPT OF THE UNIVERSE OR DIFFERENT TIME SCALES. SO SIX DAYS, (MANS INTERPRETATION OF "GOD'S” WORD) TO CREATE OUR EARTH COULD BE CORRECT FORM BOTH “GOD’S” WORD (BIBLE) AND DARWIN’S THEORY OF EVOLUTION.
