The Father is still the same. He is Unapproachable by man. But through Christ the Father can be understood.
Like the Word of GOD He never changes.
GOD is not a pacifist. Christ is the mediator ois the manside of the GOD head. He bore our sins and guilt on the cross so the Fathers wrath is appeased.

No, God sent His Son to earth to be a living sacrifice for the sins of the world. He had to die to do that.
It is true that God was a much harsher God in the OT, because the chosen people, Israel, continuously rejected Him and disobeyed His laws.
God, over and over, said He wanted them to be His people, and them to accept Him as their God.
God could not accept anyone into heaven who was burdened with sin.
The scriptures say that God knew before the foundations of the earth, that He would have to provide such a sacrifice.
So when He thought it was the right time, He brought His Son into the world for the express purpose of providing salvation to a people that had rejected him over and over.
He also decided when His chosen people turned against His Son, that He would make His offer available to everyone.
He still is a God to be feared, He has dealt harshly with those who refused to obey, but He has turned everything over to His Son Jesus and that may be why there is such a difference in what you see in the OT and the NT.

No, nothing man can or will ever do is change who God is and what He does. God is the beginning and the end and will never change. Just because Jesus taught forgiveness and love, doesn't mean that when the world comes to an end, that God will judge all sinners with His wrath..

I think neither, people added to the OT so people would fear the people talking to god and the book makes god out to be the devil in disguise so there for keeping like minded people apart from each other so that the truth about god never be discovered, what power a common man would have had he the truth about GOD

No, God did not change. In the Old Testament God looked through the lens of justice. In the New Testament God looks through the lens of grace and mercy.
Even in the Old Testament if you followed God's guidance and direction in how you lived your life you recieved grace. For example Abrahams faith in God, that God was who He said He was, is counted to Abraham as righteousness.
In the New Testament, the new covenant between God and man, we have Jesus righteousness covering us, allowing God to look at us with His perfect love and extending grace and mercy to His children.

Christ willingly paid the price for our sins. He served our sentence for us so we are saved. There is no more need to punish mankind because of this.
