SCWID is the only one who got it right.

You can't "delete" files from any CD, wether it be CD-R or CD-RW. A CD-RW will allow you to wipe the entire disc and use it again, but it won't let you delete anything.

The only way to remove files is to wipe the entire disc. You can do it from any cd-burning program... or even Windows.

Place the CD-RW in the drive, open up Windows Explorer, right-click on the CD-RW drive and select "Erase"

The pictures must have the attributes set to read-only status. Try right-click the pictures, select properties, and on the general tab remove the Read-only attributes at the bottom and click OK. If that can't be done, the next step is to re-format the cd-rw. It will erase everything on your disc.

Change it to a read-write file

well, format it.

use an erasing utility. They are usually contained in the software you used to burn it in the first place.

only takes a minute, then it is writeable again.
Save the ones you want on your computer, erase that disk, then reburn the ones you want...

ALL FILES put onto a disk is read only.

Hi. You can either change the attribute status of the file in DOS (attrib -r -w -h X: ) or get a utility to do it for you. One example : http://www.tucows.com/preview/363355

you cant....you can write over it., but theres no deleting. i think cd-rw disks are like dual layer dvds. the first layer is written and if you want to add to it the second time around. it writes on the second layer.
