If he doesn't want it, why would you??? Don't you want someone who wants to be with you?? You will get over it, take a little time for yourself and your girls and just have fun for a while. Once a bit of time has passed then you will be ready to go onto something else.
Just don't jump into another relationship because you are sad, or lonely or hurt. This wouldn't be fair to the other person... Take some time to heal.....
He has given up on the relationship. you can't hold onto something that isn't there.

You have to ask yourself why the dates didn't go well. Were you playing hard-to-get, or playing like friends-now, benefits-later, or some other thing? Did you kind of sit there and just drop hints at him, or did you actually talk about your feelings (or did you talk to much)? If you were playing games and expected him to read your mind and see your true feelings, remember that this is real llife and not Star Trek, mind reading don't work here. If you were giving off a don't-touch vibe, he is going to think that you aren't into him, and move on.

If you want to try again, you are going to have to make the first move. Say to him that you know the dates didn't go well, but you want to try and just hang for a while, then go with him again and tell him what you really feel and DROP THE GAMES.

Only you know -- but whatever it is (long-standing grievances, buried hurts, minor irritations that are building into major problems because you aren't saying something that needs to be said), you'll feel a lot lighter once you stop carrying it around with you everywhere you go.

Find someone who wants to be with you! You went out twice...trust me, he's not the love of your life.
