I have a cat, and work in an animal hospital. My allergies go crazy, especially when it's hot. Anywho, what helps me at home is keeping my cat clean. I also use Vick's Vapor Rub Cream under my nose, and it really suppresses all the itches and tingles in my nose. I hope this helps cause allergies suck, good luck.

I read somewhere that you should brush your cat outside the house. And you should keep some type of cover on your furniture to clean it easier. Lastly, you should have a couple rooms in your home that you reserve as off limits to your cat. That way if your allergies kick in you can simply go to another room.

You could consult a doctor, for possible allergy medicine. You can have someone brush your cat (I'm assuming you own one) daily, to help cut down on the dander. Also, vacuum often to pick up the hair & dander that's around the house.

Put it in a sock face first. That will help filter its breathing and stop the allergies.

If that dosent work give it a lot of allergy medicine. If that makes it sleepy, then give it diet pills to wake it up.

benidryl. you will be sleppy but it is the only thing that works. i take it everytme i know im going somewhere with cats. it sucks. or alergy shots. im scared of needles so i havent gotten one but i want to. if you have cats get rid of them. you will just be misrable .
