the dye doesn't take better, but the oils in dirty hair protect your scalp from the chemicals in the dye.

actually, its best to wash hair that was washed the day before, since washing strips the hair of oils . The dye can damage hair that has been freshly washed because theyre is no protection from the chemicals whatever. I dyed my hair last night, then added the streaks this morning, just to ensure there was as little damage as possible.

Well you shouldn't wash it right before, not because it won't take as well, but because then you scratch your scalp while your washing your hair, and when you dye it, the dye could seep into the littlest scratches on your scalp and you can have a major reaction to this.

Wash your hair the night before you plan on dying it. Make sure not to use hairspray, gels or anything else. Most hair dyes will say to use on dry hair and if it needs to be washed make sure to completely dry before dying.

take a bathtub a minimum of sometime in the process the day previously you will dye your hair. enable it dry previously making use of the dye and look ahead to how ever minutes your dye says. then in simple terms stick to the field.

ITS BETTER IF YOU DONT WASH UR HAIR BECAUSE THE DYE LASTES LONGER BECAUSE IT HAS SOME THING TO STICK TO, IF U WASH UR HAIR B4 ITS SMOOTH AND THE DYE HAS NOTHING TO STIC TO.
