I was 16 when I met my boyfriend Ethan and I'm now nearly 20 and want to marry him. Sometimes, age doesn't matter. :-)

I'm 28 I thought I found my true love when I was 17. Turns out between 18 and 25 a person grows and changes A LOT. You may have found your true love, but there is a lot more to a long term relationship than LOVE. Like patience, understanding, loyalty, sensitivity, ACCEPTANCE (that's a big one). I know it sounds old, but don't tie yourself down to one person when you have the whole world and your life ahead of you. You have NO idea what is instore for you when you graduate. Life is a lot different after highschool. I know I might get a couple of thumbs down for this answer, but I am being SO REAL!!!

I fell in love with a guy when I was 15 and he was 16. 8 years later, we are still in love and still together. We don't have any children and are not married so that shows that we are together because we want to and not because something is forcing us too.

My wife and were 16 when we first me. We both worked in a department store. At 18, graduating from High School, we got married. 30 years and counting.

most 16s are always thinking that whenever they have crushes or infatuations, cos their world is so small, only surrounded by family n friends n school. they have not seen the world outside yet, so they always think that the girl/boy they are "in love" with is their love of a lifetime.... once they grew older, then they will know, what is love, actually.

When I was sixteen I was ready to be married and do the whole thing... my family fought me all the way...almost tore us apart...then...I decided to go to college and try the long distance relationship...then I got married shortly after I graduated college...
To a completely different woman...who I now have two children with and am perfectly happy.
What we wish for as youngsters doesn't always mean it is good for us...
please be very careful....I had a student who got married very early and had a divorce before she was 18...
take it as you will.
Good luck.

I was 16 thought I knew it all. Now that I am older I realize love was only "puppy love" Be careful there is lots of life ahead of you!
