The best thing you can do is immerse yourself in an English-speaking environment. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Take risks and use the English you know. Practice. Practice. Practice. Also, for some reason all the speakers of English as a Second Language (or fourth or fifth, etc.) who I've met seem to have in common that they watch the sitcom, "Friends," and they watch a lot of old American films. You should also get a personal tutor.
