I drew this rose for her, but don't know what to write on it. I think I should talk about how I feel about her. Or I could do poetry. What should I do, and what should I say?

"A rose could never smell as sweet as you, and has no chance of competing with your beauty."
Then sign it.
And when you hand it to her face to face, ask her out to the dance.

Girls don't usually go for the deep sentimental writing the first time they recieve an invitation to go out. I think you should say something humerous and cute, like:
Roses are Red
Violets are Blue
I drew this one
If you go to the dance with me, they'll be a real rose waiting for
you!
You must then make good on your word and present a rose to her when she agrees to attend the dance with you.
I would love to hear if she accepts and how the date goes!

Wow that's a bit extreme if you haven't started going out already, you don't want to scare her away, unless she does like you then I guess you can go for it. Why not just ask her out to the dance and save the rose and poetry for later.

Write her a poem and at the end of it put will you go to the dance with me or something along the lines and leave it at her locker. Make sure that she knows it's from you though. Or you could be secretive and ask her to meet you there and put a specific time and location. Hope I helped you.

Make sure she likes you, 100%. Then ask her to dance on the last slow dance song and after the dance ask her out.
