when love failed to work , do you think postrelationship can work?

the relationship failed to work between me and I gf for spiritual reason, she was practicing a very strange mystical kind of spirituality (like voodoo and magick) which I was inconfortable with, I decided to stay with her in spite of that, because I loved her very much...the thing got complicated between her and I, when she told me that she wants me to follow her spiritual, I said, that I can't do this right now ...but, as soon as, she finds someone else who accept to do that for her ...She left me, but seems want to stay to my friend ..I was hurt by what she did, but at the same time, I don't hate her, the relationship was not going to work in the long run ..I am still jealous because she is with someone else ..I manage to stay her friend, but I'm still jealous ...Do you really think friendship can work in the long run after that ?

If she truly liked you for who you are she should never have tried to force her religion on you. I practice Vodou and my boyfriend is catholic. I am open about my religion as is he. He has no problem with what I do and vice versa. But I would never ever force him to practice my religion or I would leave him. I think you should leave her be. What she did was wrong and you should not give her the pleasure of your company anymore.
