Win XP: Go to Add/Remove programs and click "Show Updates" in the select box at the top. Scroll down and find & click "Internet Explorer 7". Click the "Change" button and click the Uninstall text. It may or it may not. IE 7 is a piece of crap, i am still using IE 6 and FireFox. The best way to revert it is to use file restore. Go Start,Programs,Accessories,System tools and system restore. Windows will walk you through it. It's only takes a few minutes and it's safer than unistalling IE7.

Best answer: NO. Why? Because I've removed IE 7 and added it again... no trouble at all.
Oh and by the way I use Firefox 2.0, but I have IE 7 just because I can. I removed it because my antivirus was getting a script error, but then I reinstalled 7 a week later after the antivirus was patched and sure enough it's just fine.

No, it'll be fine. After you finish uninstalling it, go get a real browser. Get Firefox. Get it here.

If you install IE7 and dont like it, just do system restore. Dont uninstall it or you may have to re-install your operating system.
