Install a roll cage, I definitely see a crash in your future. These vehicles are pretty heavier to be sliding sideways around dry paved corners. But if you must "drift" with your liberty: Just start off slow in to a hard corner and gas it hard, when the vehicle starts getting side ways counter steer and hold the gas to the floor.

Although the LIberty is RWD, it is going to be WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too top-heavy to drift around anything.

The centrifical force alone of having all that weight on top is going to send you spiraling down to your demise.

If you are going to try it, the easiest way to "try" it is to make sure that you are going quick enough (start slow, about 20-30 MPH), turn the wheel HARD (left or right), keep your foot on the throttle, giving it gas, and pull the e-brake up all the way and release it quickly while you are in the turn.

Drifting that way is pretty easy. You will destroy that piece of Jeep, however. Good luck.

Oh yeah, you're going to BLOW through those tires in a matter of fifteen minutes.

You are an idiot! First....drifting is lame. Its not even racing. Second you want to drift a top heavy SUV w/around a 8 in ground clearance! I want to go back in time..... 9 months before you were born and give your dad a condom!

Its a 4x4 and will not drift like the drifters you see a tv.You need a 2 wheel rear wheel drive car to drift like that .

Way too top heavy!! try dropping it as far as possible, then remove everything in the suv: seats, carpet, speakers, stereo, everything except you, drivers seat, steering wheel, brake, and gas. Invest in some major HP!! Then get plenty of medical insurance!!
