Yeah I liked it,it really brought tears to my eyes!...To me it was a masterpeice :).....

Im not sure. I thought the use of aramaic was brilliant to set the scene and the movie had a profound effect on me while I watched it, but as soon as I left the cinema I forgot all about it ! It had no lasting effect at all. In retrospect it wasnt a very memorable film.

Yes. And no.
Great story (obviously)
As a movie, I didn't think that much of it. The Aramaic and Latin was a different device, to be sure....but I found that it actually took away from the movie.

Yes, it was gory, but realistic. the bible said He was beaten beyond recognition of a man and the movie did that justice.
