i want a specific hairstyle, and ive been told to get wax, but how do i use wax?

my hair length is long enough for it right now, so how would i do it, or would i be better off going to a stylist to show me how to do it

ok. rub your hand aross the to of the wax. You need to get a small skiff on your hand. Then rub your hands together, this is called emulsifing, it heats up the wax and makes it easier to spread. Then rub the wax in the opposite direction you want your hair, then rub it the direction you want your hair. That will put a coating of wax on both sides of your hair shaft, helping to make the style. If you want to piece it out, feel free.
