How can I use my psychic powers more effectively?

Question

I am very very psychic and it's beginning to get out of control.. Thoughts suddenly come to me and I find that the very thing I am thinking has just occurred. This has happened three times with people close to me who have died suddenly. I wonder if I could get more in touch with these thoughts so that they arrive in time to enable me to stop the event occurring?

I am simply stating facts about the way I am and experiences I have. If people don't call this psychic, then fair enough. I am only using that word because it is the word which describes most closely what I am experiencing. It is not a matter of belief. i am a mathematician and scientist and believe strongly that everything has a logical explanation but this is one of those things to which we have not discovered the explanation yet. Hundreds of years ago people would have scoffed at the idea of radio waves and anyone hearing sounds via 'radio waves' would have been considered mad. This is precisely the same. However, I am asking if anyone has found a way of channeling these abilities in a more useful way. The experiences which I call 'psychic' are dreams and sudden feelings and thoughts which tell me something which turns out to be true. For example a dream about my best friend dying when she was 18 and a few hours later she was killed on the road.

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. On the path of our spiritual growth, we will have enhanced psychic experiences and abilities. To become attached to them and giving them too much focus and attention is an act of the ego. The ego loves the idea of having "powers." This can hinder our growth towards Self Realization. It is good to remain detached from them and let them be of use to you in finding out who you are.

As for them in getting out of control, I'm really not sure how they can be under control. Have you considered meditation? In meditation the mind is quieted down. It creates a stillness within and things flow much more smoothier. Try looking into that and see if that helps. Meditation takes you even farther than what psychic abilities give you.

My other suggestion is to pray to Amma for guidiance and help on this. She has helped me a lot with my opening up psychically without getting too attached to them. She watches over me and makes sure that I don't get egoistic about it. It's been very effective. Amma is remarkable! You can talk to Her as if She is right there with you.

Know that order and balance must exist, if you gain the power to change what we can chance in one direction then another direction comes adding to a balance that must take place.

Perhaps gaining knowledge of Magic would help. As a psychic myself for over 30 years, I don't do reading. I focus on patterns around my life and detach myself of emotions. Patterns are used in Math.

If this is really happening to you, use it in a good way. Turn to God and the gift he has given you will be used in a way that benefits others. Don't use it for anything occult or try and "enhance" by doing voodoo or satanic things.

even if you do pick up on them
we have free will and you cant mess with that
but what i have came to realise is , when i know of a death then i can prepare myself for it before hand , grieve and heal ... so that when the time comes and the person dies ... i am there to be of support to those that need me
