If Jesus was GOD, then why in Mark 12:29 Jesus said "Here, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord." The words "our God" indicate that Jesus had a higher God over him, a stronger God than him. Jesus didn't say "Your God". He said "our God" which includes Jesus as the creation of GOD.

why in Matthew 19:16 Jesus said "Why call me good, there is none good but One, that is GOD"?

why in John 5:32 Jesus told his followers that they have never seen GOD at anytime nor ever heard his voice?

And jesus never said im the only Son of GOD
and he never said im GOD in human form.

I need logical answer,

Jesus is the same spirit as God - only in human form. Jesus walked with men and communicated with men in a way which they could understand. Jesus was sent to live a human life - only a perfect one - all the while knowing that he was going to die on the cross to save us. Jesus wanted man to praise God - not himself and Jesus also praised God as he was sent to be an example of how we should live our lives. Jesus wasn't sent to be praised but followed - so he was not going to set himself up to be a higher power than God. Jesus was sent to do the work of God all the while being of the same spirit as God. I know it sounds odd but that is what Faith is all about.

There are also Bible verses that say, "Whoever has seen me has seen the Father." (Jesus' words). Jesus also said, "Before the world began, I AM." (This is the OT name for God the Father.) There is also the verse that says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was WITH God, and the Word WAS God." (The "Word" is another name for Jesus Christ - "The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.")
Maybe a better way to understand the Trinity is to know that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are One, in that none of them contradict the other; they are in perfect harmony, they all have the same personality. Therefore, they are just 3 manifestations of the same God. Jesus said "Our God", because His Father is His God as well. He said, "Why call me good?" because part of His mission was to reveal the true nature of the Father, and not to take the glory Himself. That doesn't mean He WASN'T good, he just didn't want any praise.

As my nick suggests, i believe i am, and we all are, "underneath reality". Whether Jesus is the son of god, god himself or neither is something we can discuss and argue about but not really determine. We all look at the concept of god from different angles depending on our different religious backgrounds and beliefs however, we all know that truth will stay anonymous until the end, which is, ironically, anonymous too. It all starts with understanding the concept of god... before we ask who is god, we should ask what is god? In all religions, and most people who believe in god in some way or another, agree on that god is some sort of force that created us. We always tend to ask where things come from, and obviously, atheists will pose the famous question... "o.k, so where did god come from?" Nowhere? Evolved from something else? where did that something come from? well... eventually, we have to believe that there is a starting point and in the English language, we agreed to call that starting point "god". Does that make me a creationist and not an evolutionist? not really. Maybe god created apes and they evolved with time to become humans. Now, why would a "force" so powerful suffer for the sake of the creatures it creates and controls? Many people, including prophets (if you believe in their existence) try to help people to take the first step on the "path of righteousness". Jesus, as a wise man, or a prophet if you say so, had a mission to complete. He had a message, whether it was from god or from his own mind is something you can argue about forever, but the truth is that he dedicated his life, and suffered all the way through to convey that message. Even the "path of righteousness" is different from one person to another and from one religion or belief to another, but they all come to the same point, organizing our lives so that we can all live together and accept each other. As I stated before, my own personal belief is that god is the starting point, and there is one and only one starting point. Every wise man, teacher, prophet, believer, or non-believer can be a new link in the closed chain, that will eventually get us back to the starting point.

Jesus came to earth for two reasons. He came to testify to the truth and to establish a path for man to God.

He did say that if you know me you know the Father for I and the Father are One.

The bible is written by men and authored by God. Jesus claimed that those who accept Him for who He is will know His voice.

The Gospel of John uses a plethora of names to describe the deity of Jesus. In the beginning was the word and Jesus is the word. It was His voice that spoke the universe and all life in into existence. Peter tells Jesus that He is the Messiah and Jesus confirms this and that Peter only knows this because God in heaven, His Father revealed it to Him.

Then you have the "I Am claims of Jesus. They are:

I Am the Bread of Life, John 6:35
I Am the Living Water, John 4:14
I Am the Good Shepherd, John 10:11
I Am the True Vine, John15:1
I Am the Door, John 10:9
I Am the Son of God, John10:36
I Am the Light of the World, John 8:12
before Abraham was, I Am; John 8:58
I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life, John 14:16

These are claims to the truth that Jesus made about Himself, who came to testfy to the truth. Either you accept that Jesus is who He says He is or you don't. There is no integrity in only accepting some of what he said or the bible says for that matter. It is all true or none of it is true.

This does not mean that we understand it all, only that we are able to accept the truths that we have verified for our self that are in the bible. The truths that we have not or are not able to verify yet we accept on faith that God's word is true.

Good question, and to add to it let me ask, If Jesus were God and he died on a torture stake, or cross (which ever you believe) wouldn't the world have ceased to exist? How can the world go on without God since he is our life source. Also, who ressurected Jesus? If it wasn't a God superior to Jesus but Jesus himself than his death would have been a hoax. He was suppose to surrender his life as a ransom sacrifice. That would be a conterfiet sacrifice. True, Jesus is a mighty God, but then again the Bible calls Satan the God of this system, but there is only ONE ALMIGHTY GOD, whose name the Bible says is Jehovah. Psalm 83:18

To Marion R: Yes, Jesus was appointed as King, not only in heaven, but over the earth as well. Perhaps you're familian with the "Our Father" or "Lord's Prayer", He is King over the Kingdom we pray for.

In Islam, you'll find a logical answer: Jesus is not the son of God or God himself, he's the messenger or prophet of God, and God sent him like he sent Abraham, David and Jacob to deliver God's message to the people. in the Holy Quran in Surah (4)-171. "O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His apostles. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah. Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs"
and in Surah (112) "1. Say: He is Allah, the One and Only.2. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; 3.Never did he beget, nor was He begotten; 4. And there is none like unto Him."
In Islam (God=Allah) I know this against Christians believes but this what i think is a logical answer.

The Bible makes it clear that God is both distinctly three persons and one God at the same time. This cannot be completely understood with the human mind and is one of the great mysteries of the faith.

Jesus is NOT God. He is the son of God. The word Trinity is not in the bible at all. It is offered as an explanation because no one could quite figure out what the prophets were talking about, so viola, they said there is a "Trinity," but it is not in the bible.

Jesus is the Lord of this earth...He created our bodies (under the direction of God the Father), he created all living things and is the Savior of mankind, therefore our Lord, but still subject to God, His and our Heavenly Father.
God the Father created our spirits...all of us. Christ is not the only son of God, but the only Begotten. Some think that means the way Christ was "concieved" or it could also mean God had to forsake Him for a short time when he was crucified...
Also, about "no man hath seen God" needed a little more correct translation...
JST No man hath seen God at any time, except them who believe . . .
Joseph Smith, under commandment of the Father, correctly translated or expounded on a few verses in the bible...that was one - that talked about "no man seeing God"

Only the born again religions equate Jesus with god. the rest of the Christian world thinks for themselves, and actually reads the words in the bible, instead of just following the teachings of some uneducated pastoR.
