I am a fan of His Holiness (not sure who the author is) but it is the biography of Pope John Paul the II. A great read...hope you check it out!

The Great Gatsby, Cather in the Rye, 1984, Brave New World, Frankenstein, The Metamorphosis (It's only 50 pages!), or anything by Ernest Hemingway

you would definitely like "Rain of Gold" by Victor Villlasenor..or his other book that followed "Thirteen Senses" in fact any book by Victor Villasenor is a good read..I am definitely a fan of his writings...
