Tough call. The note is romatic. In person is ballsy. And on the phone is more comfortable and easier than the other two, but not romantic or ballsy.
Now, if you don't see each other enough to even ask her out in person, what makes you think you will have time to even go out together?

I think it would be good in person, cause if you truly like that person you get to see the face and if she says yes you'll feel so good cause she right there. But since you say you don't see her enough ask on the phone, and theres no sense for a note cause you have to see her for a note so if you see her its best to tell in person.
And trust me if she says yes if your in person with her, it'll we so much better than a note or a the phone.

definetly try to in person. if you really want to go out with her, you'll make time to ask her. if you cant do it in person, next is a phone call. ask what shes up to this weekend or something and ask if she wants to see a movie. last is the note. notes are more for letting a girl know you were thinking about her to make her feel special.

hey man,
I would suggest (what everybody else has obviously said) that you should try it in person, if your too afraid to do it in person then do what i have wanted to do:
~get a blank sticker and write "will you go out with me"
if that's "immature" or something, then:
(if you know where she lives) then leave a note on the porch with some cute little artsy picture or something that reminds you of her (or is close to her, like she likes bunnies, draw a bunny) and write will you go out with me on the bottom.
but most of all, girls like a guy that's got balls, not literally, but has guts enough to come up to her and MAKE AN EFFORT. that's the key to ANY relationship.
hope i helped ya out bud! were all in this together,
~Evan

Try over the phone, but first make sure she has no boyfriend. Don't get your hopes up because the answer isn't always yes. Ask this to yourself, how do u know u like her, if u don't get a chance to see her alot?

Make time to see her in person. If you cant, try over the phone. A note is kinda elementary school...

Ok, here it goes. I was asked out on the phone. The reason he did it was because he thought I really liked him but he needed to find out more infomation about me. I used to leave him notes on his car windshield. I left notes for a few months and chickened out on revealing the identity of his secret admirer but I left clues. I didn't think I left the clues he would actually figure out and didn't think he would actually try to find me. He asked me out when I revealed I was the one. Talk about nervous. To ease the nervous feelings he told me where he would be the next evening and I could stop by. I took a friend with me and played video games and he and I smiled and stared at each other but didn't speak. It took off the nervousness for when we actually met for the date. So if you ask your crush out with a phone call you might want to consider telling her you might want to take a friend with you before your actual date if she agrees to go out with you. Good luck no matter what you decide to do.

Girls LOVE in person. It makes a man seem stronger, almost. more personal. but if you can't ask her in time, ask her on the phone and tell her you intended on doing it in person.
my friend wouldn't go out with a guy because she asked him in a note. notes are a no-no
