When I was at college my roommate and I made it our mission to try every single type of bourbon/whiskey the liquor stores sold.

Much to my delight we found this peculiar whiskey called Georgia Moon Corn Whiskey. It even was sold in a mason jar (the novelty packaging was what sold us) with label that deceptively looks home made (though it's not).

Although it's not moonshine and "only" a 100 proof, it still packs a pretty good kick taste wise.

We ended up just keeping it in the liquor cabinet to give the newbs something to throw up in the sink when they started to puff out their chest about their drinkin' abilities. I honestly just think the mason jar psyched them out and played with their head because it's no stronger in alcohol content than Wild Turkey.

Liquor snob did a review of the brand:

go to a few drag races and talk to some of the drives and owners because they use moonshine as gasoline and they need a license to make it
