I was wondering why do you wait until you find someone else to dump someone you seem to don't like anymore, or think there is no future with? it would be just honest, and simple, to say to the person , that you think it is not gonna work instead of rejecting the person, when you find someone else ...it hurts really hard at that time ...

Some people think they can't be happy unless they're hooked up with someone, even if the relationship is not a good one. I agree with you that it's very hurtful when someone breaks up with them only after they've found someone else. That makes a person feel used.

Because a lot of insecure people can't stand to be alone.... they need someone to "love" them all the time... which is just wrong.
They're cowards and by finding someone else it gives them a little bit of an "excuse" to leave you

Man you practically read my mind! I want to know too. It always happens to me. I'm like "When you were with me you were looking for someone else? Am I that terrible?" It really does hurt more than the standard breakup.
