Well, if you're referring to your 'wisdom teeth', it will take about two or three weeks. I should know, i had that done last summer and it was not fun! Be prepared to have your face swollen like a balloon and extreme pain (unless they give you the painrelievers....those were a big help.) I dont wear braces, so i dont know if that will affect you differently. Hope this helps!

It's a good idea to try and get your wisdom teeth out before or right after your braces come off. Wisdom teeth often have limited space to come in, and can push on your other (newly straight) teeth. I just got mine out this month, and unfortunately experienced dry socket which prolonged my recovery. Still, I felt almost back to normal at the two week mark. There will still be some healing for up to three months. But it's really not that bad, just do it and get over with. That is my advice.

I had four molars removed when I had braces put on (I had too many teeth in my mouth/double (twin) teeth). It took about a year worth of braces for the other teeth to move in the spaces.
Now wisdom teeth. I had mine taken out after my braces came off and it took about a month for them to completely fill in, but after a few days they stopped hurting.
