8 rounds, 3 minutes per round = 24 minutes, but that exludes the breaks between rounds

it takes 24 minutes, 3x8 rounds. then 1 minute rest in between rounds. so 31 minutes total. Or simple enough, until 1 of the fighters knocks the other guy out. i think as well that amateur fighters only fight 2 minutes a round. i think that is right. but only on some occasions.

27 mins, 30 second, I thought it was only a 30 second break between rounds if not then its a minute which makes the total time 31 mins

Maximum of 24 minutes of fighting time, but it could be as short as only a few seconds, if one guy K.O.s the other that fast.
