I am looking for one that records video, with audio. don't need so many features. i just need a camera that you point, and shoot, with a good lcd display, and good memory capabilities.

Canon is the perfect camera for you, at the right price. It is around $200 to $300. My 3 year old powershot records video with great audio. Also it is a pretty big lcd display and you just zoom if you want to then point and shoot. It is also rated by consumerreports.com the best camera for its price, capabilities, and ease of use all rated #1

Although I own a Sony, prob the best bang for your bucks would be the Canon brand.

depends on your budget, canon does great camera's, i avoid casio, my friend brought myself a 7.0 megapixel and its crapper then my canon 5.0 megapixels, i wouldnt really recommend using a digi-cam for filming the mic picks up funny sounds. and theres no extra functions to light up in the dark etc.
kodak, and fuji have some great cameras
