I'm 20 and lately I've been hanging out with this new group of friends who introduced me to this guy. He's really sweet and funny (and good looking!)..we get along well and I want to ask him out but I just found out he's 27!
I don't really know what to do. Is that too weird, too big a gap? It's weird thinking that when he was leaving high school I was barely in Middle School.

That's not too big of an age difference in my opinion. If he's as great as you say, why not give him a chance?! Don't worry about a 7 year age difference... that's nothing really!!

No! That's not weird at all... but did you ever stop to think he tells himself "man, when i was graduating..she was just getting into middle school!"
Its not weird at all. I'm 25 & I dated a guy that was 35.
that means that when i was born, he was ten. When I was 10 he was 20. It freaked me out at first but after I got to know him... we both learned alot about each other & it was an experience I wouldnt have changed for the world (both sexually & mentally)

umm...you are not 10 and hes not 17. you guys are both of legal age, no worries on the age gap, if you like him and he likes you, age is nothing but a number.
