I am so sick of these people in the "tattoo" forum saying that we should read the bible, or you will go to hell! How about this, won't you go to hell for judging another person?

if people think by getting a tattoo is going to make you a worser person and send you to hell THEY ARE WRONG!!!!! why because as long as you stick and have your own religion present everything is fine.......there is just some people that got stuck in the 1700's and sh!t....!!!!! if they judge or talk wrong about someone with a tattoo what does dat make them? a better person than the one with the tattoo.....man people NEED TO START RESPECTING OTHER PEOPLES BODIES, THE WAY THEY LOOK, AND SPECIALLY STOP POINTING FINGERS AND JUDGING!!!! NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO JUDGE NO ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU.....

For those people who so called quote the bible about tattoos, need to read it again. The bible says absolutely nothing about tattoos or piercings what so ever!! Now judging others for any reason at al.....that's a very good reason to go straight to hell! If people don't like tattoos then they don't have to get any. But for those of us who enjoy the art of a great tattoo or a few need to be left alone. Tattoo's aren't for everyone but there's no need to judge people who do have them.We're not hurting anybody by putting art on our body's and nobody is forcing anyone to get tattoos. I say you are 100% right! People need to respect the art and keep their noses to themselves!!
P.S. just because someone has tattoos doesn't make them stupid, poor, ignorant, scum, etv. I have 4tattoos and plan to get more i also have an Associates degree in Business. We have several people in our family that has tattoos and are doing very well for themselves. My opinion is the real ignorant people are the one who think they know who you are just by looking at you. You can't tell someones personality or education just by looking at them. You have to talk to them and get to know them. Who knows the next person you see with a tattoo could be your boss,doctor, or laywer!!

While I am tired of it, I really don't care anymore. I still know that I'm a good person and that the people around me love me just the same. Its just funny how contradictory those people can be. Case in point the toutou girl saying we're going to hell for having tattoos, but she posts questions about being 14 and needing tips on sex. That's a sin last I checked (I myself am not religious but have read many bibles)

Judging another person won't send you to hell, but it is a good symptom of some of the people who will be there. I personally hate tattoos. I think they are all ugly, even the pretty ones. A tattoo is a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling. My gran daughter and her husband have several. They also don't have a pot to ---in, but it was their choice. I love both of them. I can't help but feel that someday when they are as old as I am, they will regret having done that to their bodies. Having said all that, I know this is my personal feeling and everyone has a right to feel the way they want to. I don't judge you for your tattoos, but I do question your judgment.

i agree. not too sure about the going to hell part but i dont like when ppl stereotype because of tats. i have yet to get one but i will when i am older. ppl get tattoos for different reasons. some symbolize death, special ppl, events, or maybe even it symbolizes the person who has it. u shouldnt critize and judge witout knowing the reason for the tat! i think this is a good q and it is a social issue that needs to be solved.

i know how you feel i have three tattoos and I'm young so when people see my tatts the automatically assume I'm in a gang, and they start to criticized me for my body art, they don't even take the time to get the story or the meaning of the tattoo. what they don't realize is that telling someone that they are gonna go to hell is a sin also, they are not god so they don't have the right to say nor judge who go's to heaven or hell, so when they tell me I'm going to hell i tell them i see you there save me a spot... tattoos are beautiful...

i agree. i think there is a negative stigma and some people will never change. my MOM of all people who has a tattoo says that sometimes when she sees a woman with a tattoo she automatically thinks she is trashy. then she remembers she has one. i think it's kindof an old fashioned thought.
i love my tattoos and i love it when people have tattoos. i would love for all of the tattoo haters to leave this forum but i think their mission in life is to spread negativity.

I got tattoos and piercings beceuse Ana wanted to, not because someone told me to. I could care less if someone says I'm ugly, trashy, stupid, etc. So people who are anti-body mods can say ALL they wanna because I dont care anymore...and neither should anyone else. because if it was so bad then every Tom, Dick, Mary, and Jane wouldn't be running around with tatts and piercings. and dont go waving no bible in my face either

I wish people who don't have any idea about tattoos would just keep their opinions to themselves. Half the time I think they b i t c h about tatoos because they are too chicken to get one themselves.
For that matter, people who have opinions about ANYTHING they don't agree with should be a little more understanding about other peoples views!

Personally, I don't care either way. I know who I am and I know why I got them. Other people can think what they want. It's only a sign of their ignorance and arrogance that comes from not understanding. Some people are incapable of getting honest about having both. Nothing you can do really.
