So I'm working on the design for my half sleeved (one arm dedicated to my mom, other my dad) and I want to know how to transition them so it looks beautiful and not just a jumbled mess.
And no, I can't get it on my back because I have large phoenix wings on it.

It's pretty much just images of what I love/remember most growing up.

My dad - His tractor, a pen, a hair trimmer...etc.
My mom - Sewing machine, a cartoon, a stethescope, Rugrat character...etc

I really like the concept of your tattoo. Obviously your main focus is heaven, and hell is obviously on the bottom. It's going to be hard finishing that tattoo off into a full sleeve because like I said your main focus is heaven (I'm assuming), and the rest of your tattoo would have to be hell. UNLESS you do some type of art where angels are battling demons (that's what I would do).

If you could post more information about the imagery you're including in the tattoo, it might be easier to make suggestions. Certain tattoo styles use different thigns to tie it all together (ie Traditional japanese tattoos use the elements, especially wind/clouds and water).

You sound so hot, um transition? Try using alot of large designs instead of multiple little ones all clumped together?

i would take all of the images to a custom tattoo aritst and let them put it together and find a good transition for it. otherwise it sounds like it may look jumbled.

You don't need advice here. Find a good artist tell him or her what you have in mind. They can usally come up with some good ideas.
