I just texted a guy i'm friends with saying I need to talk to him. O.K. he's a little more than just a friend, just not really sure what it is yet. He texted me back that now is not a good time. I know hes had some illnesses in his family lately. I texted back and said it was ok. just when he had a chance and I hoped he was ok. I don't think I should take any of it personally. Should I?

I don't think you should take it personally. He had the decency to write you back to tell you write now was not good. If he becomes unavailable more often, you might be concerned, but just make sure his family is okay before you drive yourself crazy. I would say you should be concerned when he doesn't write you back. Good luck and I hope this helps.

OMG! Don't take it personally! Give the guy a break. He only said that it wasn't a good time, that's means try to catch him later. Toughen up chick!

Should you take it personally because he has family illness and can't talk to you right this moment?? Are you crazy? No way!

Take what personally? He just said now wasn't a good time. For all you know, he's on the toilet.

no don't take that personally - it sounds like he was busy or something - nothing personal wrong at all - sounds like you jump to conclusions a lot..
which is exactly what you did here. why? give the guy a break.

No, if you know there are family problems right now, he's probably dealing with that... just give it time.

no. family issues always come first. i honestly wouldn't bother him with any issues that are not life and death.
