Have you ever received a really bad gift that made you mad or giggle so you wrapped it again and gave it to some one? If so, what was it and who did you give it to and why?

I re-gifted a coffee grinder once. My friend gave it to me for my birthday one year. My birthday party was at a bar with a band...just an odd place to present someone with a coffee grinder. The gift was sitting there on the bar stool and another friend helped me carry my gifts out that night...she laughed when she saw the coffee thing and said, "Who gave you COFFEE?!?!" It was pretty funny. I mean, I do drink coffee, but I don't care to grind my own beans! I'm not *that* in to it.

I prefer gifts that are from the heart, unique, and catered to the recipient. They don't have to cost a lot.

The same friend who gave me the coffee grinder also gave me this sandwich press/sandwich maker because, she said, "Well, I saw you making (my daughter) a grilled cheese once...." I think I re-gifted that one, too, to someone who could give it a better home!

One time I got a cookbook that I already had, so I re-wrapped it and gave it as an extra gift to a freind who I knew wanted it. I really hope no one finds out, Lol id be embarrassed.

Usually if you get a bad gift, its *bad* and no one else would want it, and you dont want to be the *bad* gift giver, Lol!

I received books. And no, I love reading, but books like Romance/Fiction. So my grandmother sends me these geeky SciFi books and I'm regifting it to my cousin in front of her face.

That's why I ask for gift cards, not books, when I don't want anything for my birthday it kind of means I don't want anything!

God Bless.♥†

An ex-boyfriend gave me a CHEAP blanket once. It was hard to understand. He eventually explained that he knew I complained about being cold all the time - but it was weird. (Really, wouldn't have bothered me, but it was one of those really cheap blankets that's scratchy.)
