i just downloaded windows defenser and i want to start downloading music from limewire, should i start downloading songs or go and buy a better antispyware?

I use it and it isn't bad. If you are downloading something that it thinks maybe harmful for your computer it lets you know fast with a pop-up. I also use ad-aware and spybot search and destroy.

No, it actually rates very low on most anti-malware reviews. Plus I've read that Microsoft has a buy in that allows software companies to pay microsoft to be kept out of Defender. If you look at the second link below you will see that it's only 31% effective. I use CounterSpy on my corporate network and have had very good results.
