Yeah---how OLD is he? That would help a lot!
A football uniform or signed jersey, a tee & practice net for kicking the ball into, tickets to a game, an autographed poster, collector cards.
Hunting gear, flannel shirts, farmer overalls, a gun, targets, shells, blaze orange gear, a book on hunting....etc

If he likes fishing then get him a new pole and tackle gear! For hunting a new hunting jacket or something that is in the line with hunting. As for Football a jersy of his favorite team would be nice too!

i've lived in Chicago or around chicago my entire life so i'm a BIG chicago sports fan i love the White Sox and I love the Bears I kinda feel what you feel I love the Sox more in I can never watch any other baseball game besides the Sox, but at the same time I love football much more than baseball i've loved the White Sox for longer and i didn't like football until recently which might be a factor that plays in i just feel in football i love watching it no matter what, but that I watch baseball for the White Sox ....its kinda hard to explain, but without a doubt I love both teams what I don't understand is being from Indiana how you could not have been extremly excited to see your team win....Indiana is sorta me second favorite sport state so I like the Colts, but there was no chance I wanted them to beat the Bears in SB XLI

if you know his favorite player - find out the name of the players agent and see if you can either get an autograph or arrange a meeting with the player and the boy. Sometimes all you have to do is ask and they are glad to help.
Most of these folks are really nice people and are more than happy to do something like that - but you have to arrange it and all.

get him some football games on xbox, ps2 etc. thats always something fun and both of u could play it together. im in same situation and have no clue what to get my bf.

You could get him a hunting knife. Academy has some if you have academys where you live.
