Im 14 years old, and I would not say desperate. I look for the right girl at the time and try to go out with her. I havent liked a girl for like 6 months. Then i liked this one girl, didnt work out, i liked another, and then that didnt work out.. i liked one jus now and it looks like it is not going to work out either. I mean I dont even get a chance, they just say no when I ask them out. I havent had a serious girl friend yet, is that ok? Is it normal for girls at this age to look for like hte perfect guy? Does this mean in High school im not guna be able to get a girl friend ad be lonely? Thanks!

come on man....you're 14! there is no point in worrying about relationships and all that at your age. enjoy your high school years. have fun, hang out with friends and just enjoy it! don't stress out over girls and relationships. it's not worth it!

Girls aren't stupid at your age, but we are kind of picky. Some of the girls you've asked out are probably looking for the "popular" guys to ask them out. I know I used to. Something you should try is to not ask out girls every chance you get. We talk to each other a lot, y'know, and news travels fast in school. Since you're still kind of young, just relax. You'll find someone with a fab personality who will like you just for being you. Love can be found in the most unexpected places, too. I met my husband when I was 13, and we were off and on for about five years. I didn't know whether I really wanted to be serious at that point in time, and I wanted to meet other people and get to know what else was out there for me. Maybe that's what's going on with the lasses you're talking to. Just hang tight and wait for something great to happen. I'm 19 now and married to the biggest kid on earth, but I love him for it and I wouldn't give him up for the world.

Yes, you are 14 and will have PLENTY of chances. Just keep trying. The girl you want or are looking for will come with time, as soon as you know yourself and get experiance.
It is good to date different girls, have one night stands, experiament, and do everything that you would otherwise regret not doing once you can not do it anymore! Just be wise and use protection and be safe.
You are young, give it time, most relationships at your age don't last into marriage anyway, because people change while they find themselves and gain more knowledge.

You are too young to be dating. HIgh School dating is pointless anyway. Christ, you are 14. Why do you want to be in a relationship. Besides, only one of your relationships will ever work out anyway, and that will be your wife, which is probably a good 10 years away. So stop worrying about relationships and jsut have fun.

I'm in the same boat too!!Well, I'm in high school and i don't look for a perfect guy!! No one is perfect anyways, so what's the point!! I think you will go out with a girl soon, but don't worry so much, the right one will come to you!!! and always be yourself, that counts alot!!

Enjoy being 14. Stop looking for the right one, right now. Chances are that you will not find your true love until college or after high school anyway.

Keep in mind that girls are what 5 years older mentally? It doesn't get any easier in high school either...it gets harder...imgaine what its like after all of your schooling...Be patient, and don't rush into dating. You'll feel better in the long run, without so many heartaches at such an early age.

Not everyone will get the girl they want. Sometimes, if you wait, the right girl will come to you.
Maybe your expectations are too high. You should first get to know a girl for who they are. Then if you fall for her, you're falling for her for the right reason (I hope). You just don't fall for someone that looks hot. You need to look for the inner beauty and personality.
