is it just me, or are most of the "logical" people on here illogical?

Question

people say that religion makes life pointless, because you just want to get to the afterlife. but it's wanting to get to that afterlife that gives life meaning because you want to be a good little boy or girl in order to see the wonders of heaven.

my question was never answered before when i asked how can athiests say that life is precious. all the responses i recieved were people saying that they were atheists and they think life is precious. they never told me a logical reason why it was, yet they told me that was being illogical.

here's my logic: you do what you do but in the end you die. you don't remember what you do, whether you were happy or not, whether you completed something or not, or whether or not you really made a difference for future generations. yet people still tell me that i'm being illogical and that since you're going to die, you should be good because it'll be better for future generations.

SHOW ME SOME LOGIC NOW PLZ!!!!

Well I was thinking about answering your question, seeing as how you did not have any other answers, but I don't think I am the best candidate for this. I am still very confused about what I believe and even if I came out a non-believer, I would probably be the Agnostic kind.
I know I have a problem and will need some type of help in the future, but I just wanted to say that before I even considered non-belief I tried to kill myself. I was just so confused and angry. Why would God put me through so much pain? But then I began to consider that maybe there is no God, I wasn't made this way, it just happened. That has helped. I still have a lot of things to figure out, but this is a start.
Now this is just what happened to me and I know everyone is different.
Sorry this is not exactingly what you are looking for, but I just thought I would give it a shot. Good luck finding the answers you are looking for.

Given a situation......
If you were to hit a jackpot, on entering one right door, of the millions of doors .....
and you finally do....don't you beleive that you are lucky..luckier ...luckiest.
Similarly after every life, you can be born in millions of life forms (rebirth) and you are born as a human...

Moreover, This is the only birth as Vijay to me even if I were re-born I would not be the same vijay in the same time, with the same people and so.....I conclude that If I were to get just one life as vijay ...I have to be the best I can....and so life is precious to me.
