I bought a co worker 2 gift cards one to Best Buy and the Other to The Body Shop for 25$ a piece. Her initial reaction.

"How come it's just in a card it's not even wrapped up or anything I don't even want it."

Then two of my co workers talk to her for 20 minutes to get her to say thank you. Then she sits back down and complains that she doens't know where The Body shop is, and she doens't care it's not what she asked for. Then It n turns out that it is what she asked for she just forgot.

What an ungrateful B*tch. Couldn't even say thank you. Should I offer to take it back or will she complain about that too. Thats all she ever does is complain. It's women like this that make me hesitant to date my OWN women sometimes. Why the F*ck would she do that sh*T?

Don't let it put a sour taste in your mouth. Her race has nothing to do with her actions. It just sounds as if she loves to complain and/or has an attitude. I know people like this from all races...so give the "Black Women have attitudes" claim a rest.

If I were you I'd tell her - if its not to her liking she can give it back to you. Or you can even say "Oh sorry - well give it back and I'll get something else." When in reality just take it back to the store and get your money back. And even explain to her you were just trying to be nice - its the thought that counts.

But doggone as for your comment as to women like her make you not want to date your own race ---- you could have kept that to yourself.

How horrible. It has nothing to do with her race. Some people are just raised by wolves. They were never taught to be polite and gracious. Feel sorry for her, she isn't going to be very successful in life with that kind of behaviour. It's pretty pathetic when a person must be coaxed and cajoled into saying "Thank You." I'm sorry you have to work with such a miserable person!! Take the high road and don't say anything.

It's probably dangerous asking a black woman how to handle that situation. But then again, you're probably just some wanna-be player and you were trying to get a piece of @ss and now you're trying to pick up a date on Yahoo Answers. It's because of ignorant ghetto racists like you that equality hasn't been realized. Merry Christmas!

Wow, talk about ungrateful. It's not just Black women though- all kinds of people can be like this.

If she doesn't want it, just take it back and don't give her anything.

I pity her family. Can you imagine if she had a child, and her child made her a lovely little Christmas present in class? She'd probably throw it in his face and say, "This isn't what I wanted."

That was very rude. Don't take the gift back, that will only start more problems. Just know not to get that person anything from now on.
God bless

i'm not a black woman, but it sounds like she's a spoiled, ungrateful, rude, person. she doesn't care about your feelings, or that you spent $50 on her. tell her if she doesnt' want it you'll gladly take it back and give it to someone who would appreciate it. and remember this is in the future before you spend any more money on her...

Let her keep it; just never buy her anything again.

Gift cards are a great idea. Tell her if she wants something wrapped, to do it herself.

Her reason for acting the way she did, can only come from her. Please dont lump us all in that category, we are not all like that. She was just being ungrateful and that is that, plain and simple. But let that not be the reason you are hesitant about dating your "own" women. "Other" woman can be just as nasty, remember that.
