I’ve been dating this guy for a couple of months and he didn’t invite me to his company party. I would think he is serious about our relationship. Should I read too much into this? What do you guys think about this? I am really upset about this.

I wouldn't worry about it much, company holiday parties can be rather boring. Be thankful he didn't ask you to go!

Have you guys just been dating or are you bf and gf? If he is allowed to bring a date and he didnt invite, then he probably has a fling at the office with someone. The company I'm working for doesnt allow dates to the parties because of a bad experience they had with some guys floozy girlfriend and too much alcohol. So find be sure to find out the reason.

A couple of months is not long enough for this "new" man in your life to "introduce" you to his co-workers. There may also be a "restriction", at his work, as to "who" you may bring. Some companies no longer have the wife's/husbands/partners/etc, only "staff". The costs are unbelievable. There may also be the probability that your "new" bow had to buy a ticket for this Christmas Diner, and that would have been before he started dating you. So calm down, be patient, if not - you may find yourself "alone" for New Year's Eve!Don't be possessive.

Don't be so sensitive --It is in fact a company party --and I take it you don't work there--so --who cares--my husband (yes husband) goes and I think nothing about it --a bunch of people who work together talking about the only thing they have in common (work) woohoo!!! It means nothing that he didn't invite you--Now if it were say a party at a friends home and he choose not to take you?? I would be finding out whats up with that!!

He either cant bring anyone or maybe he feels its too early in the relationship. The reasons why I haven’t taken someone to my x-mas parties has been that I either wasn’t that into them or thought they would embarrass me.

Maybe he wasn't allowed to bring a guest...or its only people who work there...or only married couples?

If not, then you're a booty call I guess. Or he just considers you a date and not a significant other.
