If youre trying to back up the game itself, you could just use "virtual drive". This will allow you to play the game straight from your hard dsrive instead of having to worry about putting it in and out of the cd rom drive.

It is called game copy like dvd xcopy or you could use alcohol 120 or whatever it is called. But you need a mod in your game in order to play these games..
