It depends, really. Hair generally grows between 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch a month.

Try taking a daily multivitamin. It might not make your hair grow faster, but it will keep it healthier so that it looks better when it's grown out. Also, don't be afraid to get it trimmed- what good is an extra four inches of hair if it's all split ends?

It depends on how your caring your hair. Sometimes its also really good to switch up, so if you've been doing braids for a while then you might want to go relaxed, if you dont want to relax then go natural. But the key to growing your hair is by moisturizing your ends, you need to moist them daily. You can use hair lotions such as Doo Gro, Profectiv and other hair care products.Although I think the best time to moisturize your hair is at nights, so what I usually do is comb my hair down, then wrap piece by piece using the lotion as I'm wrapping it and put on my satin cap before I go to bed. It doesnt have to be a cap, it could be a scarf, but it needs to be satin because the material is soft so it wont break your ends.

Peoples' hair grows at different rates, and at different rates during their lives. There is a huge difference between individuals. It your hair is straight, it will appear to grow faster.

You could measure it this week and see how much it grows in a week, and get a better idea.

Check the Wikipedia about hair growth.

it depends on your hair type and how you take care of your hair.. to make sure your hair will grow healthy.. use lukewarm water to wash it (not hot).. wash your hair AT LEAST every other day... there are shampoos (Mane & Tail) that you can use that MAY help your hair grow (but again it depends on your hair type)..try to BRUSH (not comb) your hair before going to bed.. it help relax your scalp from the whole day stress..
