I have never experienced meth, or any drug at that, and don't plan on it. I would however like some information from people who have tried it or know somone who has tried it. This may be a little personal, so don't answer if you don't feel like it. Thank you for your time,
Acebomb

Its a horrible drug that makes you paranoid and deteriorates your character as well as health.

You feel high for about 3 to 6 hours and then you come down....meaning you feel like total garbage and if you are a fiend you willl do more (in order to never "come down") and get hooked quite easily.

I have seen quite a few people throw away their lives to be high on meth. They turn to stealing from their family and friends just to get that next high.

Here is more info about the drug:

Meth and cocaine have a similar neurological mechanism: they inhibit dopamine reuptake channels at neuron synapses, allowing for more dopamine/dopamine derivatives to be present in the synapses longer. Epinephrine is a derivative of dopamine, and is the molecule that meth and cocaine affect. Epinephrine also increases heart rate, bld pressure, and dilates pupils and bld vessels. This is the source of the rushing high feeling people feel on cocaine and meth.

The difference between meth and cocaine is that cocaine temporarily inhibits the reuptake channels. Meth causes a permanent and stronger inhibition. This is why meth lasts longer. With more and more channels permanently out of commission, the body produces more so that the neurons will still work. Soon, the user has tons of reuptake channels. In order to get the same effect, the person now has to take even more meth to deactive all of those channels. And without the meth, you have a crapload of channels and not so much epinephrine, so all the epinephrine gets snatch up leaving none in the synapse. So the person feels sluggish and irritable; this is the mechanism of meth addiction.

I also knew some people that did it. They started snorting it, then graduated to smoking, and one ended up injecting. It's a highly, highly addictive substance, and it ruins your heart and your brain for sure.

At the hospital the doctor took some x-rays and ran blood tests and said " Congratulations at 25 years old you just had a heart attack".My heart is now fine I live a normal life and I haven't even had a drag form a cigarette in 10 years. I am now focused on building a business and looking at a potential 6-7 figure income in the future. As far as my heart attack , I t has become a valuable experience to me and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Hmmm. This probable varies by area. curiously Meth is starting to be an excellent problem in rural factors at the same time as city factors are nevertheless battling large parts of pot, cocaine and different highway drugs. per chance the CDC or the DEA would have figures on the tendencies. i got here upon one article even with the reality that i'm no longer entirely particular how nicely sourced it truly is:

I've tried it when I was young. It is very exhausting to go through. Your body feels like it was hit by a mac truck afterwards. Not worth it. I never understood how anyone could be addicted to it.

I quit because I was accountable for other people... those who didn't are either dead, mentally disabled or physcally disabled from stroke etc...

Young people with organs of an 80 year old because of meth isn't worth it.

i have known a few people that destroyed their life with it. i don't like the way it makes you feel. it makes you energetic and makes you think you need to do things. i don't need a drug for that. meth addicts initially have very clean houses. as it eats your brain you don't care so much anymore.

check out www.lifeormeth.com. the web site was set up to attempt to stop the spread of meth to the party circuit in europe because enough people had seen it ravage the scene in the united states. its not run by concerned mothers. its run by people who have seen what it does to people. people that have generally experimented with a lot of other drugs and are terrified by meth. the stories are true. when moms and dads were making up stories to keep their kids off drugs they had no clue there were things like meth. truth is scarier than fiction.
i had a friend that was in jail for meth posession. we think he was prostituting himself for money to buy it. he looked like a corpse and we couldn't figure out why people would even give him money for sex. i talked to him once while he was out on probabtion and he thought it was funny the heroin addicts, crack addicts, everyone else in jail for drugs considered meth "the hard stuff".

well it ruins your life and your families life. im the only person in my fam who hasnt done it(except lil bro and si, too young to know). all my family is in jail, treatment or will hopefuly be dead soon. my mom hasnt seen my lil bro and sis for over a year. and we all hate her for it. one of my bro's does the **** with my mom. and sells it for her. because she is on house arrest. and they dont give a funk about anyone . and they think nobody knows what they are up too. one time my mom got tackeled to the floor by minneapolis swat. hahaha funny. and meth was ultimatly the cause of my poor grandmas death. she had no idea what was going on in her own home and she paid the price. we dont know exactly what happened. but there are choke marks on her neck and she bled to death. all we know id my uncles girlfriend was there and she has her own place to stay so she shouldnt have had her meth mouth *** there in the first place. does that help ya out on how terrible it is............

If you want a good paper, you gotta ask a real meth user. Not non-user's. Go out and see what there like. But becarefull, if you don't keep a good eye out, they'll jack your stuff and sell it for crack.
