i am glad for my life and my current health and i am thankful to God for it. but i must say, someone once said that the sweetness of death was hidden from us so we could live life to it's fullest.

President Brigham Young said:
"We have more friends behind the veil than on this side, and they will hail us more joyfully than you were ever welcomed by your parents and friends in this world; and you will rejoice more when you meet them than you ever rejoiced to see a friend in this life; and then we shall go on from step to step, from rejoicing to rejoicing, and from one intelligence and power to another, our happiness becoming more and more exquisite and sensible as we proceed in the words and powers of life."

President Cannon taught [this is a little off the subject. :) sorry]
"No matter how serious the trial, how deep the distress, how great the affliction, [God] will never desert us. He never has, and He never will. He cannot do it. It is not His character. He is an unchangeable being; the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and He will be the same throughout the eternal ages to come. We have found that God. We have made Him our friend, by obeying His Gospel; and He will stand by us. We may pass through the fiery furnace; we may pass through deep watersl but we shall not be consumed or overwhelmed. We shall emerge from all these trials and difficulties the better and purer for them, if we only trust in our God and keep His commandments."

Yes, every day I thank God for my life, for helping me through another day, for standing by me when things get rough, for comforting me when I run out of strength. I know He's real and that He's always there, watching over me, and all of His beloved children here on Earth. I also thank God for death. On the other side there is no pain.

John Bytheway sees our existance as a play with three acts. The first act was the pre-existance, where the Great Plan of Salvation was revealed to us and we agreed to come to this earth to be tested. Act two, mortal earthly life, is what we're in the middle of. This is the test. We need to ace it in order to achieve Eternal Glory with our Father and Brother in Heaven. "Happily Ever After" can only be achieved in Act Three, the life after earthly death. This is not reincarnation. I do not believe in that. When every soul is resereccted and in line at Judgement Day, that's the moment where Jesus deciphers and reads your doings and your heart's greatest desires, and if these are good, there's Happily Ever After waiting!

I know this is true because I prayed to Father in Heaven in the name of Christ with real faith and intent and asked if my religion was true. the peace and happiness that filled me suddenly was the Holy Ghost, and He was telling me that the answer to my question was YES!

Every day I thank Him that I am alive. Life is a gift from God. I am thankful to my birth mom as well for not aborting me. I have life because of God and because my mom decided to birth me. Thanks!!!!!!

Yes, I do, all the time. I might have died a few times in my life so far, but He has not let that happen, yet. He obviously has kept me around for a good reason. He also answers every prayer...every one.

No, I thank the Goddess, Mother Earth for allowing an insignificant being such as myself to live. She is truly forgiving. We should be grateful for our lives, no matter who we worship, be it God, the Goddess, Buddha, Jesus, or any one else.

Yes, I do.
Not every day, because sometimes I'm less conscious than other times. But on a beautiful day--- thanks for the joy. On a rough day-- thanks for the opportunities to learn.
