The upgrade won't let me select the tracks I want to rip from a CD and it won't let me move a track from one album into another album. The tracks it does rip from a CD move into the wrong album.

Well, There is, but the only way is to delete Wndowws Media Player 11 and reinstall Media Player 10. When a Windows media is installed, the version checks for similar files and deletes them. Are you sure you are transfereing the right track? I have Windows Media 9, though, but It always works on mine. I would suggest emailing microsoft about the problem.

just uninstall windows media player 11 and go to the windows website and search media player 10 and download it and install. if you have application and driver recovery program you dont need to do that stuff. just click on aplllicaton or driver recovery and select media player 10 and click install.

Go to "Start"

Click on "Help and Support"

Click on "Undo changes to your computer with SYSTEM RESTORE"

Pick a date and time, preferably on the same day that you installed Player 11.

You should be back to Player 10

Good Luck
