What is the nascar race in which all the cars have a special paintjob? I think the cars are solid colors like blue or red or yellow. I think they all race the same car maybe, they are all evenly power i know that. I thought it was called I-ron or something like that. Anyone know what it is?

The race that features the same cars, different colors, is the IROC racing series. There are several races each season, and the drivers are from all different racing backgrounds, not just NASCAR. Although several IROC drivers are full time NASCAR racers, the IROC series is not affiliated with NASCAR.

It looks to me like a lot of these geniuses didn't read your question. That is the IROC or International Race of Champions. 12 of the best drivers from different racing backgrounds. 4 races- race 1 is at Daytona, race 2 is at Texas, race 3 is at Daytona again. Only this time they open up the infield road course. race 4 is at Atlanta. The driver scoring the most points in these 4 races is your champion. Mark Martin is the only driver to win the IROC championship 5 times.

IROC. They have been running this for a long time now. All of the cars are identical and are tested before hand by test drivers to make sure they are even. The drivers come from all different styles of racing. Dirt, Cart, NASCAR and even off road.

That would be the IROC SERIES in which all the drivers are past champions in all the major series. All the cars are exactly alike and all are the same model of car. I believe they run a 4 race series. The only thing different on each car is the color.

I don't think you are referring to a NASCAR race. I believe you are referring to tie I-ROC series (which is for the international race of champions)
They don't do speical paint schemes..the cars are normally solid with a color that attaches to them to their regular car (i/e Tony Stewart had a white and orange #20 car for the IROC races)

it is the budwieser shootout that happens the saturday before the daytona 500 and most of the time the cars have special paint jobs for the night races so the cars stand out under the lights btw the shootout is a night race or you are wanting the i-roc races only pros drive in those races
