Christians always mention the hell threat to Atheist. They say they would rather take a chance on being wrong than face taking a chance of facing eternity in hell

That's basicly getting punked. You dont believe in your logic enough so you let fears control you

I think it is healthy to question religion. Think for yourself, it is good. Some people think athiests were punked by believing that one day this big boom happened and suddenly a stable universe that continually expands came about. But hey, you have that right. Either way, no one knows the origin of the universe. Where did God come from or Where did those protons come from and how did they attain speed?

Why can't I want to be so I can be a son of God and revel in His love? Why do you make it a fear thing? I have never been afraid of death but then again for most of my life I have been involved in some way with God. Maybe because of that fear in not my enemy. I can say I don't like heights much, but I have had a few good falls in my life so I blame that on them. I have reason for my faith God didn't leave me just to believe in Him because He said so. Those reason are found both in science and in the Bible. I guess you can be punked by the unknown if you want. As for me I will put my trust in the Lord God.. Jim

Everything you need to know is in the Bible. The Old Testament is a history book. The two commandments in the New Testament are how we should live our lives today. God Bless!

Nope. It's not fear that guides my life. It's faith in the love and mercy of the one true God, and in salvation thru His Son, Jesus.

Just to clarify.

Actually, I live my life according to God becuase it's better that way. I am not afraid of going to hell, and I dont follow Jesus becuase I don't wanna burn in hell. My life is better with Him, and I want that.
